We bought this several months ago and are generally pleased with the looks and functions. There are a couple of things that are not so great: the light panel for the Smart connect was depressed into the stove easily and did not pop back, and the grill pan does not fit centered on the stove.

BAD POLICY AND SERVICE

i bought this cooktop and many other samsung products last november. the covid delayed the delivery of my kitchen cabinets hence i did not have a chance to install the cooktop until yesterday (didn't have a cabinet to put it on until now). now realizing that one burner cap is missing. only 4 found in the box. samsung refused to give me the missing cap, stating that it has past 30 days. very disappointing that after spending over $10,000 on samsung products and am refused to get a missing cap! the website for parts is hard to use also. not clear on what cap i am supposed to use. this info is not in the manual either! very unhappy customer here!

Broken Knobs

i've had this cooktop for almost 2 years. a while ago the knobs became loose and would not function properly. upon inspection, i noticed the stem of the knobs was cracked. this seems to be a problem with several other owners. when i tried to find replacement knobs they were either impossible to find or $150 apiece. i don't think i will go with this cooktop again

Extremely efficient cooktop

Ive had this for a few months and it is fantastic, fast heating, easy to clean and operate. I have not used the wifi / Bluetooth integration, just no need for it.

Great cooktop!

We love this cooktop. The black stainless color is beautiful. I love how the grates are nice and sturdy. I haven't needed to deep clean them yet, but so far they've been easier to clean than the old cooktop we had. I love that the middle burner is right in the middle of the cooktop rather than at the back. This makes it so much more useful. Sometimes we'll set things on the cooktop after taking them out of the oven; this stove top can essentially hold three 9X13 pans, or three cookie sheets after you take them out of the oven. I wasn't sure I'd love the big burner being right in the middle, but I've started to change my mind. It's working out great. The knobs have a beautiful blue light when the burners are on. The only con I can think of is that I wish we had the option of turning off the light for the wifi; that's a very minor complaint though. The knobs being on the front of the stove may be a con for those with small children as they are pretty accessible for little hands. Our children are nearly past that point so it's not much of a concern for us, but it is something to keep in mind if you have little ones. All in all I give this five stars!
